Clear Focus believe in the transformative effect of understanding the whole learning package, not just the parts we make.

Our producers were among the earliest TV professionals to embrace the power of interactive multimedia, delivering ground-breaking new media for the Open University of Great Britain.

Clear Focus has continued to grow and embrace our changing technological world, whilst keeping our core values of good stories, with impact, told well.

Gail’s films have appeared on Futurelearn, Openlearn, BBC1, BBC2, and Channel 4. Her educational consultancy is based on her postgraduate studies of visual learning.

Phil Gauron

CEO

Phil started his career as a science teacher and has 30 years experience of creating engaging, cutting edge educational media, from Channel 4 Schools to FutureLearn.

Nick Salmon

Producer/Director

Self-shooter and self-editor Nick has worked on factual programming for for BBC, ITV and Channel 4. He’s also a creative composer, arranger and musician.

Helen Scott

Producer/Director

Helen has provided content for most of the UK’s major broadcasters. Now a media consultant, Helen mixes broadcast skills, journalism, and understanding of modern media markets.

Penny Boreham

Audio producer

Consummate professional Penny works as a freelancer in her own right as well as for Clear Focus and produces radio for BBC Radio 4, BBC World Service and NGOs.
